How to find us

The medieval rampart round the church is one of the best preserved in eastern Styria. Housed in 41 rooms, 12 exhibitions show life in the region from the stone age up to the recent past. Thematic focuses: Hallstatt tomb, rural life, old skilled trades, 1st Styrian fishery museum, mineralogy collection, 1st Austrian tailoring museum, fire brigade museum, documents about the 1st and the 2nd world war, a historical school classroom etc.
